A question I get often is how long have you been doing this for. Every time I answer it surprises me that it’s been over a decade! It’s been an upward journey with constant enhancements as I go. At the end of 2019, I was so excited for a new decade; a fresh start. I had a list of things I wanted to add to CG Photography, including a new logo. I had my intentions set for the new year, and I was ready to embark on whatever lied ahead of me, or so I thought. When all the craziness hit, I felt lost, confused, and a little overwhelmed. Like most of you, I clung to my loved ones and health. I focused on family and on ways to give my clients a safe photography experience.
Fast forward to October 2021 and I’m finally ready to officially debut my new logo! Finding something that represents my brand was important to me. I knew I wanted clean, simple and me, like my art. After lots of research, some help from my friend Laura from Mom Boss Co. and many revisions, we finally got to “the one”. I love the simplicity and meaning.
Why a heart?
A heart is life, a heart is love, a heart is happiness.
As a newborn photographer and mother, I know how special bringing new life into the world can be, which is why I wanted to incorporate a heart into my logo. The heart signifies the new little life you are bringing into this world, a person you will love, with your whole heart, forever. A heart is our life source, and additionally, my name means life (in Hebrew). It felt like a full-circle moment.
My photography goal is to capture the life and love of each unique moment, and so a heart was apropos.
My commitment is to make each family fall in love with their baby and bottle up that feeling to keep forever.
